The Canadian Public Needs an Inquiry Into Abuse in Canadian Sports
"I think it would really show just how ugly the system is, how disconnected and disjointed and broken the system is," he says. "If we're able to look at this and really pull back the curtain on abuse in Canadian sports, we'll be able to rebuild some of the trust I think that's been lost." The public needs to know that because it impacts children, it impacts youth all the way up,. Only after that, are we going to be able to understand why when we intervene and sanction people that it doesn't do anything, that it seems to be almost impervious to our current system.
