We believe things because people we like or trust or want to be in with believe them. And that's true for a lot of what we believe. What you think about climate change is really going to affect who will be friends with you, who will take you ously and shout at you on the internet. So it's natural that people will leap to conclusions thatma be fallacious. A lot of what i'm arguing is is about emotional literacy and understanding your own reaction as much as it is about technical skills. I try to beleve the cure but er its not is not always totally straightforward.
