Stone House and Sheila - A History of the British Government
Stone House is extradited back to the UK. So is Sheila and they eventually stand trial accused of various forms of insurance fraud and theft. They are both acquitted of the conspiracy charge. Stone House goes to prison, has a couple of heart attacks,. survives them, those for a while. And that really might have been the end of the whole matter. But in 1978 Wilson has retired by this time. The new PM is a man called James Callahan, the Labour Prime Minister. He was briefed on it again in 1975 and again in 1977.
