"It was uncanny how it would always just fall into play, especially with somebody like Paul Newman," he says. "I block it, but I'm sort of looking at it through the character's eyes as opposed to completely in terms of shots." He adds that sometimes Ben Davis will then say, well, if we look at it here, this is where you're going to get the best capturing of all those acting moments".
