Chasing Consciousness

CHAPTER

The Probability of All Possible Conscious Experiences

The minimal set that I proposed with my colleagues is that a conscious entity has experiences with a headache. It takes actions based on those experiences and its actions affect the conscious experiences of other conscious units, conscious agents. So what we have are probability spaces and Markovian kernels. And it's trivial to prove that if you have a network of interacting agents that are affecting each other by Markovian kernel, that system is computationally universal. This leaves open this idea of there could be a never ending space of conscious experiences that we have to explore.
