There's a point to where the sort of iterative test makes sense and it's you don't want to get reckless. Did SpaceX jump the shark on that one? I think that they kind of did. And if your thing is too complicated to get done on the timeline that you need to do the test, then you should have had a simpler design,. You should have done something that was lower risk that wasn't so complex.
