Soderrick bell is considered by most people to be the father of critical race theory. His first major work was a 19 70 book called race, racism and american law. In that 20 year gap there has been a massive change in how race and law are thought about from bell to kimberley crenshaw. The way critical race theory thinks about racism is the same civil rights movement, abolition of slavery, et cetera. These didn't make racism better. It's actually getting worse.
