The Evolution of Dreaming
All mammals seem to dream, but reptiles and amphibians don't. David Ike experienced sleep paralysis when he fell asleep on his back at night. He was aware of the outer world that was trying to wake him up from a dream state. His ex-wife also tried to wake me up in some other states of consciousness.
