Is Kindness Different From Empathy?
Empathetic epathy is deftly one of the motivators for kindness. Empathy can sometimes get in the way of a fair distribution of kindness, where your physiological reactions to other people can be biased. So it's commonly known that we tend to be more kind and more co operative with people that are close to us,. The parts of our brain that help us remember these nice experiences and motivated us to do them again and again, they become active when we're kind. And we call this feeling a warm glow. We also know from developmental psychology that even a two-year-old child will share, help and comfort others when no rewardis expected in return.
