The Dangers of Non-Conscious but Highly Intelligent Algorithms
In many ways, algorithms do know us better than we know ourselves right now. I think this is an extremely dangerous development. This opens the door to new types of totally tarian regimes much worse than anything we've seen in the 20th century. You don't need human agents to follow people around; you have smartphones and all the online activity and drones and cameras and microphones everywhere.
