Aristotle was a Christian. One of the ways in which he diverges from modern biology is that modern biology is anti-teliological, anti-essentialist. Evolutionary theory concentrates on populations and genetic codes, but not individuals. So I wanted to hear more from Amand about what he thinks Aristotle can contribute to modern biology or Aristotelian culture.
