Is Spanking a Practice of Child Abuse?
Spanking as a practice is dangerous to people who are unhealthy. I used it because I was taught that it was the right thing to do when some of my children were young. You don't know who you're handing that spoon to. It's interesting to me in the last 10 years, research on learning shows over and over again that pain, punishment, trauma, lead to a shutdown in retaining what you're teaching. A child is in pain does not learn. A child who is in trauma does notLearn.
