"I don't remember how or when I switched from hiding behind deliberately created fake personas and being able to feel," she says. "When we never felt safe to express emotions, to feel emotions, any of those things, we can struggle to even know where to start with this." She suggests using the feelings wheel in TV shows as a starting point for therapy.
