I was reading more about women going into war, and there's a bit of a myth that the Dohomey warriors were the only female army. In fact, the Russians had one at the end of World War I. They used propaganda to make people enthusiastic about fighting. The woman thought so bravely, because they were just happy to be there. This is certainly me too, the guys were like, oh, have you had to go over the top? Well, you know what, I'm just going to do my shoelaces. But the women were like, ahhhhhh! They've been writing their whole lives for the opportunity. Own it.
