Strange Holiday

Dawn and Sam Ahern went to a dinner party at their friends' house. The group watched Strange Holiday, a 1945 film about a man played by a clawed reins who returns to America from a fishing trip after discovering the country had been taken over by a fascist force. It was the story of a man returning to a familiar place that was suddenly terrifyingly different - not unlike what would happen to Sam when he awoke after the dinner party. For dessert, Marilyn baked a blueberry pie, Sam's favorite.
