The Importance of Creative Expression in Games

I hope a lot of people listening will think about their work with websites and apps and so on, and hoping wish that they could manage to implement some of the same process. It's kind of constrained. Story arcs, thinking carefully considered content, all this kind of stuff where a lot of time we don't quite get all those pieces into position. I feel really lucky that we did have such a rigorous process. If I were doing a game today, it just feels like such a luxury or a silly thing to do and offsite about the subject. And yet, it does change the way you focus on your work and the way the team focuses on the project at hand.
