The Importance of Venomous Snakes
Why do we need the venomous snakes at all? That's a very good question. We don't know enough about their population status yet to call them endangered because nobody does a census of snakes, like how they would do for a tiger or elephant or leopards. What we do know is that there are some snakes that are very sensitive to environmental change. For example, King Cobras are very, very sensitive to climate change. If they don't get the right amount of humidity and rainfall and temperature, we know that they can't,. Their population is going to dip down.
