The Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee Released a Report on Child Abuse
The southern baptist convention executive committee released a report prepared by guide star. It detailed decades of abuse in southern baptist institutions that was ignored or minimized. Survivors who tried to raise issues were consistently rebuked, the report says. The panel did create a list of 703 abusers, with 409 believed to be southern baptist affiliated.
