Cobalt prices are booming right now because they're needed for smart phone batteries, for electric car batteries. About 70 % of the world's cobalt comes from the democratic republic of the congo. Congo sets a top three point four million tons ofa cobolt, and it's the largest proven reserve of the the mineral world wide.
