The Importance of Electricity
In an article you write that a better perspective on electricity would approach it not only as infrastructure but as a vital public service underlying basic social reproduction. You can maybe tell us a little bit about or distinguished what a public infrastructure approach would be versus the public service approach which you advocate. Yeah, I mean a lot of what we advocate is so far away from how so many places treat electricity so it seems a bit utopian in some sense But there does seem to be preexisting social majorities in favor of public ownership across a range of different countries.
