Can I expose to myself, even if it's not shared with others, what are the decision factors that I use to decide whether evidence is credible? What are the assumptions that I have going into particular things? If I'm thinking in terms of healthy behaviors, do I have existing assumptions about what it is I think is the right way to be healthy? The willingness to actually confront ourselves with evidence that may be inconvenient or if we can do it, most effective ways to change our minds when they should be changed.
