You have so many feelings during the day. It can be something that you don't even notice, but you responded kind of viscerally to something that you were off scene. The dream picks up on what consciousness left aside and left unelaborated as it were. Why are dreams so distorted? Having to find a way to hide what they need to hide from the part of your mind that sensors and inhibits them.
