Shell's Board of Directors Is Suing Exxon Mobil

Shell's board members are being personally sued for allegedly failing to manage the risks associated with climate change. The law firm Client Earth filed the suit in its capacity as a shareholder at the high court of England. Exxon told us they do have a range of experience including in environmental matters and applied science or technology. They also said that they strive to play a leading role in the energy transition while retaining investment flexibility across a portfolio of evolving opportunities to grow shareholder value.
