Blacks in the North, Not the South
Nine of the 10 most segregated cities in the United States are all in the north and west, they're not in the south. The overall trend of black migration today is out of the northern and western cities where they had tried to make their homes in the 20th century. It comes as a great shock around the age of five or six or seven to discover the flag to which you have pledged allegiance along with everybody else as not pledged allegiance to you.
