The body of Elizabeth McCord was found in a shallow grave. Her clothes were lined up, and immediately linked this case to the nearby murder of Kathy McCord. Detectives soon convinced that Elizabeth had been killed by the same person, who had murdered Kathy. The police needed to launch a huge investigation into both murders.
