The russians have not taken any big eukranian cities, and they also seem to be struggling to encircle some of them. Why are they facing such difficulties? They've taken carson, but of course, capturing a city and occupying it are two very different things. And cities notoriously difficultto capture. Part of the reason for this very rapid advance was as they deployed forward these para troopers with the idea of taking key airports. But they were unsupported and cut off. That has contributed to some of the puzzling military tactics of their campaign. In a war that could have been over in a week now looks like it's going to run into months if not longer. Henry
