How Leather Beks Can Keep Their Body Temperatures Away
The sea otter has found a way of maintaining its body temperature. They have incredible fatty layers around the esophagus that keep them warm and insulated. Even when they swallow their prey, which might be colder than ther cold temperature, it prevents their poor body temperature from dropping. Some scientists just discovered that leather beks are able to produce a certain amount of body heat through digestion.
