The Love of the Lovers in the Song of Solomon
The concluding verses of this chapter, and of the song more generally, can be confusing. Many commentators imagine that the brothers of the bride speaking at this point. In both cases, there's a contrast being set up. Verses 11 and 12 are also difficult to understand. Again, it's sun clear who is the speaker here.
