What Is Chatter?
Chatter can be triggered from external events. Or some times, external events really demand our attention. Thoughts are often functional in the sense that they are helping us make sense of the world. Lots of people think, for example, that stress kills slike a meam out there avoid stress. That's not actually true. As i like to point out, you wouldn't want to live life without being able to experience a stress response. And what accounts for that elevated, chronic stress response is chatter. It is thinking.
