The Original Antigenic Center in Influenza
David Hoth says it's originally antigenics in, but I'm not convinced that's the explanation. If you just gave Omicron alone without the other, which you don't do, what would you see? In mouse, what it suggests is you are able to generate antibodies to the Omicron and overcome this imprinting because they're far enough different. And so it would be interesting to do this with different strains of influenza, ones that are more or less similar to try to piece out similar questions.
