How to Rate a College or University
Three metrics that parents and students might look at as they think about ranking institutions. The average retention rate for the United States is 75%. Anything over 85% is very good and the elite institutions have 90%. And then lastly, I'd point to the endowment per student. All of them. To find these numbers, all you have to do is go to Google, type in the name of your favorite institution and say retention rate or graduation rate or endowment per Student.
