Is the Universe Preferable for Left Handed Particles?

The universe seems to have a preference for particles whose spin is pointed away from the direction of their motion like an electron flying through space in the positive x direction. We call those particles left handed if their spin is the oppositedirection of their motion. The weak nuclear force which is responsible for beta decay will only talk to left handed particles it does not interact at all with right handed particles so that's what we mean when we say the universe has a preference for left handed particles.
