Africa is where a lot of the growth will be centered this century. The fastest growth is occurring in places in the South, such as Niger and Mali. One of the biggest things will be that often when we think of what the world's great cities are,. We might think of London, New York and Tokyo. But increasingly, the world's mega cities will be in Africa.
The United Nations says humanity has reached 8 billion, but Western nations are worried about population decline. Africa isn’t, though. The continent is about to shape the rest of the century.
