Dry Powder and the Future of Venture Capital
Rick Steves: We're seeing companies get to the fine knobs and dials of understanding their business model in a way we probably haven't seen in a decade. When they become public companies in the next year or two I think they're going to be much higher quality public companies, he says. In early 2020 people have moved on so there's a concept of dry powder and there's about a 171 million dollars someone calculated a billion dollars of dry powder in the venture ecosystem but it also feels like Rick that every VC that I know not only do they have dry powder but they're out there raising capital too.
