The Importance of Being Ambitious
I think in general, Canadian culture is more modest than American culture. In the United States, kids are sort of grow up to believe that like they can be the president or they can be anything. And I think in Canada, it's a little bit different where being ambitious or sort of having a big dream or vision is you kind of don't really talk about that so much. No, I never, I didn't even tell my friends in school that I was a singer. You know, and I'd always say, please don't tell anyone else because I don't want anyone to watch.
