Festus and Agrippa in Acts 24
Porsches Festus was a Roman governor in this province. He's mentioned here in Acts 24 as the governor who succeeded him when Paul was left in custody. The 25th chapter is Paul standing before Festus and then also Agrippa. Bernice or Baranese -- sometimes referred to as Bernice by ancient writers as Luke does - became the mistress of the Roman general Titus.
