In new england, everyone's plates say live free or die now. The motto has only been the state since 19 forty five. I've a feeling every tattoo artist in new hampshire does like five live freer die tattoos every daynow. i was really interested in the idea that the way that nature functions, the way that we interact with it, is so much, has so much to do with our values and power. It actually cropped up before i got to grad school. There's kind of this this idea in science that science is objective,. essentially, that that's the only way that we can know truth, is through objectivity and through rationally approaching questions
