In 2019 Asia Pacific Airlines carried 375.5 million international passengers and was growing by around 4%. In 2020 that fell to 70 million before taking a real nose dive in 2021 to carry just 16.7 million passengers. The pendulum is slowly coming back but it will take many years for aviation in the region to fully recover.
