The Search of Whitechapel

Whitechapel was flooded with police in plain clothes and a house to house search was carried out. It took over two weeks for the Metropolitan Police to search each and every home and lodging house. More than 2,000 people who were staying at the common loginails is questioned. Adam Wood: Whether the search was legal or not was questionable at best.
