The Human Factor in Revelation
Vernon Howell was a man from Houston who took charge of the Carmel Institute outside of Waco, Texas. He changed his name to David Koresh because he thought that he had come to the one and only true interpretation of Revelation. It ended in tragedy. The ATF crashed in. The whole place burned down. A lot of innocent people died. This was not a good and happy event. So we have to take account of the human aspects of the scripture as well as the fact that it is an efficient communicator of divine truth.
