i know what you mean, to feel lazy. I recently felt lazy on a full saturday. It's possible that she wasn't willing to put in the work. But just because it's a thing doesn't mean it's always the thing exactly. Dogs have been known to eat home work more readily than other things. You can only blame yourself if you don't care about your own behavior. There are situational circumstances and that are not motivated by laziness.
