The Effects of Prohibition on the US
Prohibition causes more overdoses than accidental poisonings because quality control is always much worse in a black market. Prohibition diminishes civil liberties because it's very hard to enforce victimless crime except with aggressive tactics like stop and frisk, such as racial profiling. prohibition encourages restrictions on medical uses of drugs because the prohibitioners are so afraid to allow any legitimate air about drugs.
