"I was always really curious i learned how to read very early," she says. "We were pretty ostracized from our community and so there weren't a lot of opportunities to integrate or to really go and be outside of where we were right?" She adds that her mom supported her decision not to attend school, even though there was some pressure not to do so. The actress also talks about growing up in a polygamous family as one of the few members who has been able to stay on track with their religion.
