The number 300,000 is based on a 2001 study where they break at risk kids into 17 categories. The idea of people being at risk of something is completely absurd because we're all technically at risk of everything. There's 523,000 runaways, which isn't true, but we'll get to that later. 30% of them are at risk of being trafficked. No methodology given.
