The Importance of Public Speaking Confidence

The one thing that comes up again and again is around asking for what you want. And then there's public speaking confidence, I reckon that's number two. Anyone who's not had a media background like us thinks that they have confidence in that space. We raise little boys to be brave and to be bold and to be sort of take up space in the world. Whereas girls we socialise them to be nice and to be likable because being likable requires you to be what someone else wants you to be or needs you to be at any one point rather than what you want to be.
