Is This Indonesia's First Big One for Huawei in This Sort of Legal Direction?
There's an investigation of a pretty big corruption scandal in terms of just the aggregate contract value, at least in the information ministry. So it's a 28 trillion rapilla project and almost $2 billion to build out about 8,000 base transceiver stations across Indonesia. I think it may all relate to politics, though, actually. Is this the first big one for Huawei in Indonesia? There's been similar issues in Canada, also in Australia,. Singapore got involved a few years ago and Cambodia embraced it.
