The Image of Sower and Seed
In the climax, jesus experiences the negative responses that previous prophets had received. He is sowing his word, he's restoring his people. But the climax of the story won't necessarily look the way that people expected it to. The same imagery of sower and seed is found elsewhere in literature of the same sort of period.
