The Taiwan Defense Ministry scrambled fighter jets after Chinese jets and bombers flew across their defense zone. China has yet to comment on the show of force, but Taiwan doesn’t seem to be taking it lightly, implying this could potentially lead to a military conflict. Australia continues to have problems stemming from the authoritarian crackdown on protests over lockdowns and mandates. Apparently, Dan Andrews isn’t even sure what the people are protesting. Is he playing ignorant or is this a stunning lack of awareness? On top of that, Andrews is threatening starvation for the unvaccinated while the Australian police continue to treat protesters with grotesque brutality and arrest. The Biden administration announced it will ease travel restrictions for vaccinated travelers, but unvaccinated foreign travelers will still be unable to enter the U.S. Speaking of Biden, the president dismissed the harassment Sen. Sinema received from protesters at ASU as part of the process. Will this bring the senator around to their argument or simply alienate her further?
