The Importance of Imagination in Spiritual Growth
Wright's emphasis on the kingdom shares many points of contact with some of the spiritual formation teachings of Dallas Willard. He has tried to read Willard, and certainly I have a lot of friends who have told me exactly this. But sadly he hasn't actually made great inroads. Wright finds two quite different sorts of sources for spiritual growth: the Bible itself and poetry.
