What Colleges Can Do to Prepare Students for the Workforce?
I was on a part of a focus group today, and it was with a digital industry in the north east of England. They were essentially asking us as a college, could you please teach these students these skills that will allow them to be adaptable and agile in the workplace? Absolutely,. I think we should be listening to what's going on out there in the world of business. There are some sort of fairly radical re things going on about even about preparing kids for the workforce - which I don't think should be the be it be all an end all of education.
